Awards Rules!

Welcome to the One Voice Awards, UK, 2026!

The following rules apply to the One Voice Awards UK 2026:

  1. Candidates may submit nominations for up to 8 of the awards 32 categories. You do not have to submit for all 8, but 8 entries is the maximum amount per voice artist. You may also only submit one entry per category.

  2. Please ensure that nominations are submitted anonymously - no slating. This will assist in anonymity to the judging panel. Please note that any entries submitted that are not anonymous will automatically be rejected regardless of quality!

  3. If a video submission is made via YouTube or Vimeo, please ensure that the YouTube channel does NOT have the nominee's name on it. This would mean that the submission is not anonymous, and will be rejected.

  4. * - All awards are open to residents of the UK & Ireland only (with a permanent address) or British voice artists working abroad who can prove they have a British passport at the time of voting. The only exception to this is are the international categories - ** - which are open to everyone except UK residents. Our system will automatically determine which categories you may submit to.

  5. The date range of performances that may be submitted for consideration are 1st Jan 2025 - 31st Dec 2025.

  6. No direct (permanent) employees or their family members of Gravy For The Brain Ltd may submit themselves for awards consideration. Contract staff are excluded and may enter.

  7. Entries for "Best Children's Voiceover Performance (Under 18)" must be submitted by the parent/guardian or agent of the minor. Evidence of the minor's age will be required for shortlisted candidates. NB: This category is NOT for adults imitating children's voices, but for actors aged under 18 only (at the time of recording).

  8. Awards listed as Male awards must only be entered by actors who identify as male, and Female awards must only be entered by actors who identify as female. Award categories for those who identify as non-binary must identify as neither male nor female.

  9. The judges decision on voting is final and will be presented at the One Voice Awards UK 2026.

  10. With the exception of the Demo Reel categories, demo reels are not allowed to be entered - entries must consist of actual work in that category, recorded, created or broadcast within the date-range. Any demo material will be removed from consideration.

  11. You may not re-submit work that you have submitted from previous years which are updates of the originals - for example, re-tagged adverts.

  12. For the avoidance of doubt, you may only enter one set of One Voice Awards per year. For example, you may not enter into the One Voice Awards UK (any category) and also the One Voice Awards USA (International category) in the same year.

  13. Do not slate your entry or write any additional notes that display your name. FYI however, your actual (account) name in Casting Tools, and the filename of anything you upload will be automatically redacted, and so may contain your name without breaking the anonymity rules.

  14. Duration of Submitted Clips: Clips should be a maximum of 2 minutes long, unless you are submitting a Youtube/Vimeo video where you are in the middle of a larger performance, and in which case you must tell us the timings of your performance in the accompanying notes. The audio-upload filesize limit is 10mb.

  15. Please do not cheat or break any of these rules. If candidates are found to be cheating, or have cheated, they will be disqualified and if this is after the event, may have their award revoked!

A New Standard in Voice Awards

We are setting a new standard for awards in the Voice Acting Industry (*see below!)

The One Voice Awards is an awards ceremony which celebrates talent in the industry at all levels.
Whether it's industry legends, new talent, casting directors, agents, sound engineers, or...well, anyone in the industry at all, we want to award excellence and perpetuate brilliant work, whether it's happening in front of the mic or behind it.
The Integrity of the One Voice Awards has been proven year after year, and is paramount to us as an organisation.

Because of this the One Voice Awards...

...is not open to any permanent One Voice Conference team employees, or Gravy For The Brain Ltd.

...will not charge you to submit your entries

...will not charge you for your awards if you win them

...will be judged by an independent judging body of professional industry judges - and the names of the judges will be published
after the awards have been decided, rather than before.
