Biography
Shai is an actor and voiceover artist based in London. His extensive work in voiceover includes campaigns for global brands, award-winning audio drama, leads in well-known games and animated series, corporates and promos. He is currently the voice of Dollop in Amazon’s animation/live-action series Jessy & Nessy and he’ll soon be playing Mark Twain in Audible and DC’s The Sandman Act II by Neil Gaiman, directed by Dirk Maggs. He has voiced commercials for brands including D&G, Mattel, Sony, Hasbro, Pepsi, Peugeot, Bose & more, and has done promos for the likes of MTV, Nickelodeon, E4, NBCUniversal, Sky, VH1, SyFy and CNN among others. Apart from Jessy & Nessy, Shai’s animation credits include playing Agile in Playmobil’s Top Agents and the lead, Erico, in Disney XD’s Coach Me if You Can. His varied video game work has seen him play leads and other parts in Dragon Quest XI (as fan-favourite Sylvando), Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, Chicken Police, Cyberpunk 2077, Bleeding Edge, Star Wars Battlefront 2, Assassin’s Creed: Origins and countless other titles. He’s also appeared in several audio dramas for BBC, Audible, Big Finish and more. As a “visual” actor he recently appeared in Series 2 of Sky’s hit comedy Brassic as well as the TV adaptation of Catch-22 (Hulu/Channel 4) directed by George Clooney. He has played characters with a range of nationalities including American, Argentinian, Italian, British, Israeli and Spanish on shows such as Manhunt (ITV), Stan Lee’s Lucky Man (Sky), I Live with Models (Comedy Central) and Coronation Street (ITV).
