We’re very glad to welcome Tess Whittaker back for her second year at One Voice. Tess’ passion for all things ‘voice’ started during her drama school days in the 1990s. Following on from a major life event in 2008, she decided to re-train as a Speech and Language Therapist, specialising in voice and voice disorders. Tess is now co-founder of Fitvoice, a community interest, university spin-out company. The aim of Fitvoice is to monitor and prevent voice disorders amongst occupational voice users such as voiceover artists, actors, teachers and call centre workers, to name but a few. When not involved in Fitvoice, Tess can be found in her home recording studio, mostly creating characters for audiobooks and ensuring she really can put the money where her mouth is!
