Sherrie Hewson is an English actor, presenter, broadcaster, television personality and novelist. Out of her myriad of talents, Sherrie is best known for her long standing role as Maureen Webster in the soap opera Coronation Street, as well as her roles in the revival of Crossroads, Emmerdale and Benidorm. Aside from conquering the world of soap operas, Sherrie touched an even larger audience when she took her place on the Loose Women panel, watched by tens of millions throughout her 15 year stint on the popular lunchtime chat show. Sherrie is also well known for her extensive theatrical work, working for decades in both pantomime and on a multitude of radio plays. Sherrie has recently released several books, including publishing her own cookbook. And just in case that wasn’t too many accolades, she even managed to come sixth place in Celebrity Big Brother as well in 2015. Sherrie will be joining us for this year’s One Voice Conference to take part in an interview with the Voiceover Man himself Peter Dickson, to discuss the changing world of VO during her career, and giving insights into how she has managed to adapt to this changing industry.
