Nicholas Jones began his publishing career at Michael Joseph, but it wasn’t until he started working at Thames Television, that he got his first work with both books and audio. In 1994, Nicholas established Strathmore Publishing, which provides editorial and production services for both printed and audiobooks. Since then, Strathmore Publishing has recorded over 1,000 books with readers as diverse as Ian McKellen, Lenny Henry, Juliet Stevenson, Michael Palin, Supervet Noel Fitzpatrick, Peter Kenny, Richard Dawkins, and Bono. Nicholas Jones’ speciality is audiobooks for children, but Strathmore Publishing has recorded audiobooks for nearly all ages and interests, while also recording bespoke music, both live and computer-generated. In his 3 decades of working within the publishing industry, Nicholas has gained exceptional insight into the importance of media, from printed books and beyond. Nicholas has a unique experience of every part of the publishing process from concept through to editorial, production and marketing, to delivery.
