Carrie Olsen’s first exposure to voiceover was the podcast she started about the Masterpiece show Downton Abbey. Later, as an e-learning designer, she began narrating her own courses in the corporate world. After learning about voiceover as a business in 2014, she jumped in with both feet, eventually quit her job to do voiceover full-time, and began what she calls a ferocious marketing effort. Since then she has made a home in the voiceover world, partnering with REI, Home Chef, Dreamworks, Netflix, TNT, Disney Plus and most recently HBO Max. She’s committed to sharing her journey with others who may feel stuck and need a pathway, and now funnels her e-learning and entrepreneurial expertise into her online courses, blog, and Facebook groups.
